〝 reduce, reuse, and recycle＂those were the words she always thought in terms of herself when it came to her bonds with others. it's cruel of her to think that way sure, but it was the mindset she chose to accept if it meant maintaining the relationships she cherished.reduce herself to be who she isn't. reusein terms of the way people have treated her. recycle to rinse and repeat that same process to maintain any ounce of stability.from an early age, she was always admired for her personality and especially looks, most choosing to be associated with her if it meant they could share the spotlight with her. the 'bonds' she so dearly cherished were always turned upside-down everytime people would reveal to her they wanted or expected more from her.to act a certain way, to look a certain way, to be someone she wished not to be. and everytime it had angered someone, she was the one that always got burnt. bullying, name-calling, rumors, those were always bound to follow her with every assumption people made of her. the strain of it all mentally destroying her everytime it happened, in which caused her to transfer to other schools in order to escape the toxicity.

but since then, those very beliefs of others lost to time still managed to stick and make her become codependent on building up a facade that everyone could like. "stay like this and they won't leave you" were the words that echoed in her mind with every new person she met. "oh they won't like you anymore if you don't say this" or "you're not being as happy like they are, they'll think you're weird".creating outfits and choosing to pursue fashion was her only source of an emotional outlet. clothes couldn't say mean and hurtful things about her after all. she had the ability to freely express herself in this way without the need for words, words that were always bound to be twisted up and used against her until they were untrue.now in her third year attending aoba johsai, she hopes that whoever she becomes close to won't be fooled by the acts she puts on, and see her for who she really is and wants to be. but is a chance of that happening even possible for someone who believes they're at fault for everything that's happened to them? only time will tell..
